Did ancient people have contact with extraterrestrials?

Some claim ancient texts and artifacts suggest contact, but no verifiable proof exists. Throughout history, people have told stories about mysterious beings from the sky. Some ancient texts describe gods or visitors arriving in flying chariots, while ancient artwork sometimes shows strange figures or objects that look like modern depictions of spacecraft. These have led some to believe that extraterrestrials may have visited Earth long ago.

Supporters of this idea point to structures like the pyramids of Egypt, the Nazca Lines in Peru, or ancient temples with intricate carvings, claiming they might be signs of alien influence. They argue that early civilizations couldn’t have built such massive monuments with the tools they had at the time. However, historians and archaeologists have found evidence that humans could construct these wonders using their knowledge, skills, and teamwork.

Many ancient texts and artworks are symbolic, representing myths, religious beliefs, or natural events rather than actual historical accounts. What some interpret as alien spaceships might simply be artistic depictions of stars, comets, or gods. While imagining ancient aliens is fun, scientists require strong, verifiable proof—such as an alien artifact or technology—that has never been found.
