Yes, my first entrepreneurial experience was when I was 8. My brother and I heard that we could make money by selling Encylopedia Britannicas. All we had to do was mail prepared letters. We spent $30 on stamps and 3 days on mailing them and didn't make any sales. ;-( The next entrepreneurial venture my brother and I tried was something we had a little more expertise with (collecting and selling rare coins at local flea markets). We made a profit that went towards our college fund.
