Understand that your job is to satisfy and please your client, not yourself. If you go into ghostwriting thinking that you will be able to express your own vision and point of view and express yourself artistically, you'll be disappointed. Your job isn't to please yourself, it's to please your client. Of course it's possible to do both...

So save the "you" writing for your own work, and focus on your client's goals and needs when you take on their projects. After all, contractors don't build the house they want to build, they build the house the client pays them to build...
